Let me share some new amazing developments:
1.) Musically I found the direction I want to go with my album in regards to the sound and production, thanks to my wonderful musical adviser and business adviser, who turned me on to the first artist I can really identify with: SIA. People would always compare my singing to black artists (Erykah Badu, Sade, Corinne Bailey Rae), but I realized by performing out a lot that their audiences most likely won?t be my audiences. I did not expect that it is so much harder to produce when you are the singer/artist yourself, input really helps!
I am listening to Sia?s music up and down to figure out how I want to produce my music. Be surprised, I am ?
2.) I am writing new songs, one nearly finished. I want to add 2 new songs, AND I went back to old songs as far back as 2005. It looks like it will be a wonderful mix from old and new songs. It?s just a matter of producing it all so it will be a wonderful cohesive album.
3.) The Mayor of the legendary historic City of Selma, Alabama (Bloody Sunday; the birthplace of the Voting Rights Movement; the annual Bridge Crossing Jubilee) requested to use my ?Building Bridges? song for his re-election campaign. After graduating from high school ?specializing? in Black History and Martin Luther King, finishing my ?Building Bridges? movie filming ?coincidentally? on Martin Luther King Day in a black Baptist Church it now comes full circle. I am moved by what I could not have arranged myself, am joking with my black friends that I am writing ?black history? ? I love what can be created when you declare respect and dignity for all, creating intercultural communication! Words are powerful when you act on them!
4.) My economic interview for the German TV station (http://www.daf.fm) is going to happen inside the stock exchange! How crazy is that after I declared I would also like to see a shift in how money gets invested: the success being measured beyond the bottom line and how much profit a corporation makes, but in the social sustainable change it creates. It starts with each of us speaking and acting on what we believe in, finding leverage points in our own field. As an artist I have the responsibility and the liberty to speak out for what I believe in and I am taking each opportunity to create more awareness ?
This year I celebrated my first 4th of July as an American citizen, actually as an Austro-American, with mixed feelings :-)
I am sharing some more pics from my fun-filled life, I hope you enjoy them :-)
Love & blessings from your Queen Rose

Another Long Island performance. Sundown in NYC at the beach (another side of NYC :-) I just LOVE the (evening) sky (at the ocean), looking at the horizon puts me in touch with my freedom, nature is a huge source of inspiration for me!
