I?m a young investor and I have 3,000 to invest. I wanted to diversify and want it to be a long term investment (i?ll sell when i?m ready to buy a house in 10-15 years). I?m open to many ideas, mutual funds (although the initial investment is 2,500 dollars), bonds, gold, etc.

As far as individual stocks go i was interested in dividend blue chip companies. Let me know whatever you think is best, i?m open to any ideas!
